A commission for 55seddel, rocking out with his grind bass. :3

I decided to try doing something a little different. Normally I loathe inking because of my shaky hands, but it was a great help with getting those darker shades I wanted in this.

I reffed this image for this:

Shaky hands. Inks. ... I can´t belive you - Too good done with shaky hands. Really very nice!
Rock on my cougar brotha', rock on! :dohtwo: lol

Nice drawing, I like his expression with the lolling rocker-dude tongue and the bass guitar is nicely detailed. ^^ I too despised using inks on my drawings... I like the contrast against my pencil shading and watercolors, but the whole "pen" concept is a little too permanent for my liking. lol Whenever I use the things I always end up thinking "what if I mess up, what if I screw up a line, dear GOD there's no 'undo' button!". Then I sip my tea, take a breather and move on to my second stroke. :giggle:

Hahaha! That is SO RIGHT. I like working with gouache since it is "okay" with masking over mistakes I will inevitably make along the way :) Sometimes it takes a little bit more paint to do it, but it's possible.

but yeah, inking is still a big pain in the butt, though I -like- the way it turns out if done correctly enough.
hehe, I have to sit and FOCUS and try not to wibble-wobble like I'm inclined to do XD.

Inking makes me a bit nervous. Thanks!
